They came together for Bozcaarmut Pond Conservation and Rehabilitation Project
Our Governor of Bilecik Bilal Şentürk, our Bursa Regional Director of Forestry Yalçın Akın, our Mayor Zekiye Tekin and our District Governor Berker Çırak evaluated the works to be carried out in Bozcaarmut pond in our district.
Stating that the works planned to bring the natural, cultural, spiritual and historical richness of Bilecik to tourism, Şentürk said:
'' We have 35 ponds throughout Bilecik. All of them have a different natural beauty. Bozcaarmut Pond is one of them. Approximately 500 people come from our city and neighboring provinces to be in touch with nature on weekends. We want to make this place a brand place by contributing to both nature tourism and the economy of our villages with the project prepared within the framework of 'use, protect and carry it to the future'. The most important capital of this place is nature, tree and lake. There will be places where our visitors can have a good time and stay. The vision project, in which environmental and cultural values are sustainable, will provide financial benefits to our city, our district and the local people. ''
Our Mayor, Zekiye Tekin, said, `` We are advancing rapidly for the development of our district on the road we believe in, saying, '' Our love is the marketplace. Together with Rıza Aydın, we made examinations in Bozcaarmut pond and evaluated our project on site. We are working day and night with all our strength for the development of our district in terms of tourism and culture. Dear Governor Bilal Şentürk, I would like to express my endless gratitude to our Regional Forestry Manager Yalçın Akın for their support to our project. ''
The project includes camping areas, accommodation areas, hiking trails, a viewing terrace, a restaurant, and a country restaurant.
